Just Thinkin…

Man these days are flying by fast!!! It seemed like yesterday Tiff and I were just on the train leaving New Orleans and now its almost time to go back!!!! We still have tons of work to do before we leave for home but no time go focus on the journey home… Time to DO WORK!!!!

Gettin it in on the EAST COAST!!!!

Man these past few weeks have been crazy! I’ve met so many cool people up here. So much has happened since being up here (we have videos about all that lol) But it’s been a phenomenal experience. All of the shows, the studio sessions, and even living with T2E and BMT has been the best. I’m growing and maturing out here as well. Trying to form new habits isn’t the easiest of jobs but I’m working on it. I still have a ton of work to do before leaving here so I’ll check back in a little later. Oh! By the way, have you heard CHANGE WILL COME yet? If not, you should listen and let us know what you think!!!

Lovin it in Cali! -Bettis

Yo I’m lovin it out here in Cali! The performance yesterday at Pride was bananas!!!! The crowd LOVED US! I can’t get over everything I experienced just on that stage alone. But even with KAMMs showin us around, its always a good time around the corner. In-N-Out needs to make its way to New Orleans… lol but I’m serious. And Nations needs to be in the N.O. too because that Pie was off the chain! But man,  I’ll let you know what I experience next!

Gonna Make It… -Bettis

It’s late… I know… But it seems as though everything under the sun is happening to me to stop me from goin on this tour. From tempting gig/job offers to loosing money all the way down to getting sick and almost running out of meds that I can’t afford.

I don’t wanna let the team down and I know I won’t but sometimes just thinking of the daily struggle on top of having an illness that adds to the financial side of the struggle gets to me… But yet I keep pushing… We all do.

Thats why I love my team man… Each message I get reminds me that I’m not in this alone and that when I’m not working, someone else is which means I’m slackin… They keep me goin and keep me motivated… Don’t know where I’d be with out these ladies.

We’re about to embark on something that will be a life long memory and a story to attach to our Behind the Music Episodes. lol I know all of the stress we are going through now will definitely pay off in the end. It’s been done too many times with the IdleMindz Crew. So stay tuned for all we have coming up and if we end up in your city, make it your business to come out and enjoy what we’ve worked hard to bring to you!

On The Road Again!!!!!!!!! -Bettis

I’m soooooo excited about this tour man… It reminds me of when T2E and I were in Austin for SXSW. So I’m adding to this equation BMT and Carlyn and an extended amount of time aaaaand some dope music with some of my favorite people in the world and all of this is adding up to the excitement that is building up inside me!

I’m also excited about adding the Diabetes side to this whole experience. It’s kinda like I’ve been supporting my big sis T2E’s Sickle Cell cause and many times while doing so I would forget about my own medical situation, with my Type 1 Diabetes, not that it bothered me, but sometimes she’d ask if I took my insulin, cuz if I passed out on the drums, in a show, or on the road, she’d push me out and keep rolling… Joking of course….. (O_o)….. LOL But once we discussed it, I got all kinds of chills about the idea.

Knowing that we both have a lot to say from our own personal experiences and giving another perspective on our illnesses that have become daily blessings and motivation to do anything we desire.

So through music we get to share our stories and do what we do best! You have no idea how amped I am! (^_^)
